Lisa with LiliKnits/Cestino Basket Crochet Basket

Hello! I’m Lisa of LiLiKnits, and I’m so excited to share my latest pattern, The Cestino Basket, on the Knitznpurlz blog!

I’ve been knitting + crocheting for over 18 years. I love designing pieces that are functional + timeless, including hats, scarves, blankets, and home decor. When I got my hands on this beautiful T-shirt yarn from Knitznpurlz, I knew it would make the BEST basket!

Fun fact: All of my design names are derived from Italian words. Cestino means basket in Italian!

I wanted this basket to not only be functional, but also modern, which is why I added some fun metal rings on the sides. This basket is perfect for storage and can even be used as a waste basket.

The Cestino is a fun project, that works up relatively quickly that will look great in any home 🖤
