Crochet Hook: 9mm, M13
Yarn: T-shirt yarn (weight 6 / super bulky weight), 100 yds (91 m) / 326 g (11.5oz)- color A– 75 yds (69 m), color B – 44 yds (41 m), color C – 18 yds (17 m). I used t-shirt yarn from my shop KNITZNPURLZ
Gauge: 2 St = 1” and 1 Row = 1” in dc (your gauge may depend on the thickness of your yarn, so you may have to decrease or increase the size of the hook to match the gauge).
Measurements: 18” diameter
Abbreviations
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
sk – skip stitch
st(s) – stitch(es)
sl st – slip stitch

Note: The mandala is worked starting at the center. Ch at the beginning of the row counts as a st. Change colors at the end of the round by finishing off sl st with a new color.

Round 5: Ch 1, sc in the same st as ch, ch 3, (1 sc in ch-space of previous round, ch 3) around 11 times. Sl st to ch with color B. Cut color C. (49 sts or 12 ch-spaces)
Round 6: Ch 3, (1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1) in ch-space of previous round, ( 2 dc, 1 ch) twice in each ch-space around. Sl st to ch with color A. Cut color B. (72 sts)
Round 7: Ch 1, sc in same st as ch, ch 2, sk ch-sp and next dc, (sc in next dc, ch 2, sk ch-sp and next dc) around, sl st to ch with color C. Cut color A. (73 sts or 25 ch-spaces)
Round 8: Ch 1, (1 sc, ch 2 in each ch-space of previous round) around 23 times. Sl st to ch with color B. Cut color C. (73 sts or 23 ch-spaces)
Round 9: Ch 3, 2 dc in the same st as ch, (3 dc in ch-space of previous round) around 24 times. Sl st to ch with color C. Cut color B. (75 sts)
Round 10: Ch 1, ((1 sc, ch 2) in the center dc of each 3dc group) around 25 times. Sl st to ch. (76 sts or 25 ch-spaces)
Round 11: Ch 3, (1 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ch-space of previous round, ((2 dc, ch 3, 2 dc) in ch-space of previous round) around 24 times. Sl st to ch. (175 sts)
