How to crochet a wreath?
Once you have all of your supplies, start crocheting your wreath! Work the round of slip stitch around the base. Bring yarn around the base, insert the hook into the loop and complete the slip stich. That’s it! continue around the entire base. When you reach the end of your round, weave the ends. Make a loop for hanging at the top of the wreath by making several chain stitches.
Now comes the fun part! Take your pretty pastel ribbons and/or flowers and tug them into the design of your wreath however you like it best. If you are using ribbon, cut them into pieces that measure no more than six inches long then weave them through both loops on each round as if they were regular stitches. Use the tapestry needle to help guide them through if needed. If using flowers be sure to glue them down so they are secure while using hot glue or fabric glue before adding them to the project.
Once all embellishments are added hang it up wherever you want to add some extra cheer! Crochet wreaths are not just limited to spring – try making different ones for every season and holiday throughout the year by changing up colors and decorations accordingly for endless possibilities! With just some basic crocheting skills and a little bit of creativity, this gorgeous spring crochet wreath will be sure to bring joy into any home this season!
