Erin with Simply Made by Erin/T-shirt Trivet and Coaster Set

Hi there, I’m Erin with Simply Made by Erin, and I’m honored to be sharing my newest pattern, the T-shirt Trivet and Coaster Set, with you today on the KnitzNPurlz blog!

I’ve been crocheting for about nine years now, and I’ve used a lot of yarns, one of my favorites to work with is T-shirt yarn. I love the sturdiness that it offers for bowls, baskets, and planters. It also offers a nice thick texture and absorbs well, which makes it the perfect material for trivets and coasters.

You’ll see very quick results with this project, as it works up in no time. I love crocheting useful items for my home, they’re something you’ll enjoy using everyday, but they look pretty too!

Skill Level : Advanced beginner

Measurements: Coaster measures approximately 4 ½” diameter

Trivet measures approximately 7 ¾” diameter (not including handle) 9 ½” including handle

Please be sure to check your gauge before starting, as tension can vary greatly from person to person and depending on the yarn used.
